A Night of Unity: Performances from WriteGirl

Join us at a WriteGirl online public reading to celebrate the launch of the second issue of Lines & Breaks: A Literary Journal From WriteGirl on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 5pm – 6pm (Pacific Time) via Zoom! Lines & Breaks showcases creative writing from WriteGirl teens and alums in poetry, fiction, songwriting, screenwriting, journalism and more. In partnership with LA vs. Hate, the second issue will focus on uplifting diversity and promoting tolerance in Los Angeles and abroad. Get a glimpse into different foods, traditions and music that create the vibrant tapestry of Los Angeles and cities around the world.
We’re excited to welcome Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls, Prodigal Son) as a special guest performer!
Several WriteGirl teen writers and alums will be performing their work at the event, along with special guests. Be amongst the first to view the second issue of Lines & Breaks, which will be unveiled at the event.
